Hi! please recommemd me the works that won't let me fall asleep as soon as I start reading. I've already tried a lot of different genres but nothing really helps!

Try something easy like The Chronicles of Naria. I burnt through all seven books in about a month, just reading in my spare time. Good stuff! :)

If you want a book to keep you awake, I would go for the somewhat comedic route. My theory is that it is not possible to sleep if you are laughing. In this spirit, I have two recommendations for you.

I recommend the Hitchhiker books by Douglas Adams. Doug is extremely funny, very entertaining, and can easily keep your attention.

Another good one for the same reason might be Good Omens by Neil Gaimen and Terry Pratchett. This book is about an angel and a demon which find out that the Antichrist, who is actually just a nice kid, had been born a few years ago and the world is about to end. They kind of like their lives how they are and aren't really looking forward to any changes so they plot to kill the Antichrist and overthrow the plans of everyone else.

Why not read some detective stories? Take classics like Agatha Cristie. The plots are amasing and they won't let fall asleep.
