I am sure some of yoou out there are interested or may even own a horse and I wondered if any of you have heard of a man called Monty Roberts. He is the original "Horse Whisperer" on which the book and then the film was based. The reason I am mentioning it on this forum is because he has written loads of books on the subject of training horses and is currently in this country giving demos. I read his first book on horses a few years back and found it riveting reading it was called

Monty Roberts offers a very gentle approach to training horses. Anyone who loves horses or who wants to learn more about how animals think, he is a great resource.

Just a side note, "The Horse Whisperer" movie was probably one of the only stories where I liked the movie better than the book. Partly because of Robert Redford, I will have to admit, but mostly because I liked the ending in the movie way better than the book.
