I absolutely loved R.L. Stine when I was younger. He was my go-to author most of the time. I especially liked his Fear Street novels.

I read the Goosebumps books religiously as a child. Most of them scared the daylights out of me, but I liked that for some weird reason. I think he's a good writer. I didn't view the books as all that formulaic, which I think is a novelty from an author who has written so many books. I might think they are now though, I haven't read them in a long time. But I think he's very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed reading the Goosebumps books when I was younger. I hope to eventually get my son interested in them as well!

I loved reading Goosebumps when I was in school. I enjoyed watching the movies as well. I wish had more of his books. Maybe one day I'll be able to collect them all. I love paperback but I think I would prefer those to be hardback.

I don't read him now but I remember reading his books when I was a kid. It surprises me that I would because normally I am not into those kind but I think because it was easy for me to understand at the time and he did a really good job of getting you sucked in. I remember some of his books would scare me yet I kept reading them

I liked reading them when I was younger, but if I read them now I would probably find it repetitive and exaggerated.

I used to like him when I was a kid which is strange because something like that normally would not catch my interest

I used to read the Fear Street books. I loved many of those books, although I can remember that I couldn't finish a few of them. Some of them seemed to have more gore and horror than others, at least as it seemed to me at that age, and I couldn't make it through the whole book.

Goosebumps was one of the first book series I fell in love with and really helped foster a love of reading in me. Even though I'm 25, I confess that I still occasionally reread Goosebumps books when I just want something quick and simple. They really hold a lot of nostalgia.

R.L. Stine's a man?????????

Why did I think he was a woman??? I haven't re-read Goosebumps in decades, but I remember one story in particular, involving kids who, at the end, learn that they were once ancient British royalty, and were sent into the future to protect them. Their memories were erased and they were given memories of whole new lives. It completely messed up my sense of time and what it means to be a person for, like, 15 years.

I loved Goosebumps! I read a lot as a kid, and he was one of my favorite authors. My husband actually did not read very much as a kid, with the exception of Goosebumps.

I read those books like 10 years ago. I remember liking them but I also didn't read them at night.
