I really loved the Eragon series even though I still don't own all the books in hard copy. I make it my mission to reread them at least once every year. They were the best.

My current favourite series is The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley. She masterfully combines true historical figures into the history of the character, seamlessly weaving fiction in to the facts.

My all time favorite series, is Catherine Coulter's FBI thrillers. I've read them all multiple times. I was just looking for one. Sorry budged in.

I have so many favorite series that I have read over my lifetime. From the beginning with Nancy Drew to Harry Potter to now looking for new series. It's always thrilling to read a book series. I am open to new recommendations if you have any.

I know they're children's books, but I love the Series of Unfortunate Events. Lemony Snicket doesn't follow any literary rules and his books are so great because of it.

I've only read children's series: The Chronicles of Narnia, The Black Stallion series, A Series of Unfortunate Events series. I've never read any of the Harry Potter books, nor the Steven King series - I've read The Hobbit, but none of the other Lord of the Rings books. Given that, I would have to go with the Narnia series.

Check out the Unwind quartet by Neal Shusterman, it's truly something else. I was devastated when it was over, and reading it was all I would do for days.

I have not made it all the way through the series, but the Rachel Morgan (Hollows) series rocks! :techie-reference: it's a series I could read over and over again!

For books in a series, my favorites tend to be for younger audiences. I love The Chronicles of Narnia and all of the Harry Potter books.

Chronicles of Narnia, Lewis, Chronicles of Amber, Zelazny. By strangulation, Sophie Kinsella's "Shopaholic" series was included in the list of favorite reading materials. The books are not intellectual, but they are light, relaxing, funny.

Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson
Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkein
Vianne Rocher/Chocolate series by Joanne Harris
Robert Langdon series by Dan Brown
Sword of Shannara series and The Heritage of Shannara series by Terry Brooks

There are two series that I really like, but much to my disappointment I cannot seem to find all of them to complete the collection. These would be: The Scarlet Pimpernel series by Baroness Orczy and the d'Artangan series by Alexandr Dumas.
