I thought some of Chuck Palahniuk's books were okay and the film adaption of Fight Club is one of the best movies ever, but I was so grossed out/turned off by his book of disgusting short stories, Haunted, that I'm just done with him. I've decided his books are the equivalent of gory B-movie horrors, which I don't appreciate either, although I generally love horror, and thus have no redeeming value.

I would never read Vladimir Nabokov again. Reading Lolita was a very regrettable experience for me. It was a book whose subject matter was so distasteful and yet Nabokov dared to write it in lustrous prose, as if it needed ornamentation.

I was almost putting the name here till I saw we are naming names, mhhhm. She must really been a bad author for her name to spring to mind instantly almost 15 years later.

Yes, there is one author whose books I wouldn't read nor review. He uses cursed words loosely and behave as if it's no big deal. Wrong is wrong, there is no in between.

Not atall. I appreciate every author, you will at least learn something from everybook, if nothing atall ,you can learn new words. Every author is amazing.

Some authors write in such a way that I doubt I'll ever finish their full-length stories, but I can still enjoy their short stories.

J.K. Rowling. This is even before she became controversial on social media--after the first 3 Harry Potter books, I just wasn't feeling the story. I love fantasy and magic and stuff, but I felt the longer the series went on, the more filler there was that didn't contribute to the setting or plot at all. I forced myself to finish all the Harry Potter books in case they got better, and because everyone around me seemed to be a fan, but I just...couldn't get into it. Her writing style isn't for me.

None. Every author has something to offer. I love giving second chances but if I see consistency in something I dislike, I will stop reading the specific author's books.
