If I have to choose it would be Sidney Sheldon. His book, " master of the game" introduced me to the world of literature.

I have many favorite authors and the reason depends on my mood and my life circumstances. I have always had a thing for Stephen King, but sometimes when I am with my daughter I love John Green, it all depends.

Tolkien.
For many years I did not have any notion of him and LOTR at all, but after the war with Ukraine LOTR has somehow crept back into my subconsciousness.

I have and always will love Agatha Christie's novels. Although I enjoy current authors who write similar stories, she was a stand-out author for me as her writing has elegance and class. I always end up re-reading them from time to time. I encouraged my daughters to read them, even though they might seem outdated to some readers. There is a lot to be said for "old-school" books that stand the test of time.

My favorite author is Nora Roberts aka JD Robb. I love reading her stories under JD Robb. I have been reading about Eve Dallas since the start and I am always intrigued to how the author is able to keep coming up with new storylines.

I read all different genres of books, from horror to inspiration. However, I am pretty picky about the authors I choose to like.

My four favorite authors are
1. Stephen King
2. Darcy Coates
3. E. A. Poe
4. Mitch Albom

Stephen King has been my favorite author since I was seven years old. I love his book's details and how he draws the reader into his stories. Sometimes I feel like I am living inside his books, experiencing the magic his characters think.

Darcy Coates is enthralling. Her books are simple and very smooth to read. The words are magical, and she keeps my attention.

E. A. Poe is my favorite poetry author. His dark dread and dismay help me dive into his poems. I have also been reading E.A. Poe since I was a child.

Mitch Albom has such touching stories that put a smile and a tear in my eye. His stories help the reader enjoy the simple parts of life.

My favorite author of all time is Christopher Pike. He wrote a series of books about a female vampire and she was the last one. I believe it was called the last vampire or something to that effect. They were just fun to read and he wrote a lot in a series which was perfect because I could not put those books down. I always made sure to grab three or four from the library because I knew that I would read them all in the two weeks.
