My favorite author, while a relative newcomer to the Fantasy genre, is Christopher Buhlman, who wrote the Black Tongue Thief. I fell in love with his first book, Those Across the River, and I haven't been disappointed since! It took me a minute to overcome my desire for him to continue to write literary horror, but the The Black Tongue Thief won me over.

I feel as though it is hard for me to pick a favorite author, as I just kind of jump around and read what is recommended to me. I don't necessarily follow and read everything by certain authors. With that being said, I almost always love anything by Sarah J. Maas, Odette Stone, or Colleen Hoover. As you can see, I am mostly a romance reader, though I dabble in other genres. :D

I'm whimsical when it comes to my favorite author. My present favorite author is Brandon Sanderson. But that is because I've been enjoying his works lately. Then there are so many authors who were my favorites at different point of time: Madeline Miller, Patrick Rothfuss, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Robin Hobb, J.K. Rowling...

My favourite has always been Thomas Hardy. I adore his female characters, particularly Tess from Tess of the d'Urbervilles. Unlike other female characters portrayed in books from this era, I felt as though Hardy's leading ladies always put up a fight against the patriarchy of the time. Admittedly, their success was often limited, but I felt they fought hard against the double standards and inequalities that governed their lives.

My favorite author is Ken Walibora from Kenya. I admire his profound impact on Swahili literature, addressing themes of identity and societal issues with cultural richness. His works are a testament to the power of storytelling in preserving and expressing our cultural narratives."

I personally love the writings of Amitav Ghosh ( an Indian author; he has some amazing works). Other than him, C.L Feener, J.K Rowling , Jane Austen are some of my Favourite Authors.

I'd really recommend Irish writer William Trevor, novelist and short story writer. He is probably best known for his short fiction, which has been compared to Chekhov and Alice Munro.

My favorite author currently is David Walliams. I prefer him because of his humorous language use and the plot of the stories are great!
