I love J.K. Rowling. The way she writes makes me feel like I have once been in that position. Her stories her easy to understand and relate to.
I also love S.M Goodier and many others. But for my all time writer, I would have to give it to J.K. Rowling.

My favourite author is definitely John Grisham. He's the best when it comes to legal thrillers. His use of sarcasm is second to none. Not only are his books thrilling and full of suspense, they are always hilarious

Robert Browning is my favorite author for his dramatic monologues.
They can be easily dramatized into a one act play. Browning is master of delineating in depth study of the mental state of his characters.
His optimism has become proverbial.

The master of Macabre.....
Stephen King. I love the magnificent mind of his obscurity and the way he ties some of his stories to relate to other stories he's wrote. Amazes me the things he comes up with.
I also like how he incorporates some of his childhood experiences and memories into his stories.

Colleen Hoover. The first author that came to mind. Although I have lots of favourite authors from different genres. For now, Colleen Hoover is number 1. I love how she brings all her characters to life. She's so versatile, one would not believe the same author that wrote Verity wrote It ends with us or even All your perfects!
