Unspoken Words by Thea Nikitis follows the relationship of Nikoletta and Mark. Nikoletta is a nerdish girl from a divorced home. She meets Mark through Anna and begins to like him. Being a young girl with no experience in relationships, she is confused and left with a lot of questions, especially since Mark seems to disappear after a while.

Mark, on the other hand, although experienced, seems to like Nikoletta a lot but is afraid that she might not like him back. He is unable to read the signs and cannot expressly confess his feelings for fear of rejection. This leads to a lot of ups and downs in their relationship. Do Mark and Nikoletta manage to fix this, or will this be the end of a love story that has not gotten the chance to begin?

I loved this book. It was short and straight to the point. It also contained a lot of lessons. I was thrilled by the fact that it covered growth, from a teenage relationship to an adult one. Hence displaying different trials that a relationship can go through at various stages. I learned the importance of having a defined relationship and how that can help to prevent a lot of issues. Having a defined relationship brings clarity and gives the parties a clear view of what their roles are in the relationship.

Besides having a defined relationship, I learned that communication is effective in a relationship from everything that Mark and Nikoletta went through in their relationship. It is important to express one's feelings in a relationship, as a person cannot know how you feel unless it is communicated to them. I learned a lot from reading this book. I even managed to learn a little German.

This book was fantastic; however, it contained a lot of errors. I did not find this particularly appealing. The book was not professionally edited. Also, I found the book a little predictable. I could tell what the end of the would look like after some chapters, and this did not help my aim of completing the book. Other than these issues, I found nothing else to dislike about the book and look forward to more books from the author.

I rate this book three out of four stars because of the numerous errors I encountered while reading it. Besides that, it was a good read, and I found no reason to rate it lower.

I recommend this book to lovers of romance or people in any kind of relationship. It contains a lot of lessons about leading causes of relationship problems that I believe anyone would learn from.

I've been in the same fix! It's a really confusing thing to have feelings towards a person but you're not sure if they feel the same way about you. This is an amazing review, Lucy!

LOL...Not something to be proud of, but damn I've been rejected so bad that rejection in itself is like every other word :lol2: :lol2:

There are definitely some unspoken words. I just realized that expressing oneself is very important and could save a lot of things. you just have to take that leap.

It is not so easy to tell someone you like them unless you are sure they will like you back. And for some, they aren't scared of rejection.
Nice review.
