Fifty Shades or Crossfire Series? Why?

I have read both Fifty Shades and the Crossfire Series.I enjoyed reading both but I believe that Sylvia Day is a better writer. Her story lines kept me interested. I also felt like I could relate to the characters in the books. The seduction and sex was HOT!!! RT

I've read both series and think they are both good. I personally prefer FSoG ....but that's just because I'm partial to Christian over Gideon. I think both writers are excellent!

Personally having read both, multiple times!, I would have to choose the Crossfire series. I believe that Sylvia Day has captured my interested by creating a story plot and not just another erotic novel. E.L James, who I complete love, seemed to drag out the erotic portions of the book a tad bit much. Both were very good series however. I would recommend both.

Fifty Shades. It was my "introduction" book into bdsm, romance, etc.

Crossfire Series is one of my favorites. Fifty shades was more hype even though I liked it the actual story telling was great but the erotic parts were not all that. I think Day told her stories best. After seeing the movie of Fifty Shades, I was disappointed. I had visuals in my head of the characters and they did not measure up. I wish they would make a movie of the Crossfire series with the visual images of the characters that you get in the book. That would be amazing.

I realky like erotica and S&M books that make you feel that you are in the story. I hate to admit it but really enjoyed all three 50 Shades of Grey triology. I was so hoping the movie would be just as much of a guilty pleasure as the book. Spoiler alert* the movie was not*. But back to the books. There was an little eliment of stalker in Mr. Grey, but in fantasy it was fun and exciting.

I personally love both of these series having read all the books in each. I honestly think that the Crossfire series gives more context and personal experience of the characters. I found myself bawling many times when reading the Crossfire series when Fifty Shades simply made me smile. But favourites aside they are both excellent books to read.

I would definitely give the series a try if you like BDSM with a strong alpha male. The series was such a huge hit when it was first published because it really was a trend setter (in my opinion) that opened the doors to other authors writing BDSM books. This also was one of the first mainstream BDSM books to be read by millions of people who would willingly discuss the books in public instead of secretly reading them as they used to be seen as taboo. Good story and great character developement as well. Would recommend!

In my opinion Crossfire is better than Fifty shades series but Cristian Grey is an out of this world character. He is addicting. He is the reason I read Fifty Shades over and over.

i think crossfire was a good book but it felt kinda dragged to me for some reason. but i love it too since its an OG right next to 50SOG.

I read crossfire series and watched fifty shades and loved them both but preferred Sylvia day. she had me hooked.
