I started reading Kristen Ashley last year with The Gamble and became an instant KA fan, devouring everything she had to offer (except for the ghost books, of which I tried one of and found it to be lame).

This is the fifth book in her Colorado series. And I am disappointed! Again. Because the last three or four books were not what I got hooked on initially. The story is fragmented. 30% of the book is recapping the preceding books in the series. The characters are flat and I really disliked both the H and the h.

I agree! The Colorado series started so strong, Jagged just didn't have any of the usual "danger". With the way Breathe ended I was expecting more hype to follow. Didn't feel like the same series, even her standalones have more complexity to the story line. Crossing my fingers Kaleidosope holds up a little bit better.
