Review of All Signs Point to Malibu
All Signs Point to Malibu by Jennifer Snow is a fictional Rom-com novel that tells the story of Hailey Harris. Hailey, a successful life coach and influencer, finds herself entangled in a series of events she wouldn't have predicted regardless of her special gifts. Her unexpected meeting with her ex's best friend at the airport and her meeting with her ex create a whole different routine from what her life used to look like. Find out how complicated things get for Hailey in this humorous novel by Jennifer Snow.
Reading this novel for me was like watching a movie that I liked. Rom-coms being one of my favorite genres, I must say the author didn't disappoint my expectations in writing this book. I found the bond between Hailey and Warren awkward, funny, and cute at the same time. Hailey's reaction to finding out that her ex was going to be married, considering how stiff he was in his resolutions while they dated, came as a shock to her.
However, the way she handled the whole situation was, to an extent, quite mature than a lot of people would have. Without revealing too much about the book to avoid spilling spoilers, her plan to sabotage her ex's wedding came with a lot of good and bad things for her. So I feel it was worth it for her. I couldn't find anything to dislike about this book, as I enjoyed the story from beginning to end. I enjoyed the pace of the storyline; it didn't feel too rushed or slow but was just perfect.
I came across only one error while reading through this book. I really loved the formatting and arrangement of the whole book. I also found how Hailey was being caught up in awkward situations very funny. This book gets a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because of the reasons I mentioned above and not forgetting that it was professionally edited.
Although the profanity and sexual rating of this book may not make it appealing to some readers, I recommend this book to readers who love romance, comedy, and modern-day and lifestyle-themed novels. Also, readers who enjoy reading stories that are easy to follow and not too lengthy will enjoy reading this book.
