The Tennis Party - By Madelline Wickham

Post by raindropwriter »

The Tennis Party by Madelline Wickham aka Sophie Kinsella is quite different from the author's other light hearted chick lit novels.

Everybody says that nobody is perfect but Madelline did her best in portraying this on pages.

You start seeing one character as negative and at the end that same character emerges out as the only one with some humility, humanity, and sense of responsibility.

On the other hand, you find one character extremely humble, moralistic, and balanced human being like a hero but this same character emerges out as the most wicked and loser of the losers with no shame but only greed.

Each and every character is sketched and developed keeping in mind the real human nature and how no one is completely negative of positive and that everyone has that gray shade in them.

I loved this book totally mainly because there was no holier than thou character and I would recommend it for a one time read.

Rating 4 out of 5.
