Love or hate: Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James

Post by colbs »

personally, i'm on a fine line between hating it and loving it. It had me until the mention of contracts, which is when i found it to be a little ridiculous.

I personally loved the trilogy. It's an acquired taste for sure, but most people that i talked to are loving or hating it..... Not on middle ground. I find it interesting that the contracts kind of threw you off, Colbs, because it added authenticity for me. It's a true aspect to that lifestyle that sealed the deal for me.
You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

Hate - the writing & dialogue & character development were (in my opinion) awful. I only read the first book.

I loved the book! I found the intimate seems to be too frequent and I skim read them. I understand that, they formed part of the storyline of the book but personally I just loved the love story. Alpha Male fan!
