This book touched me so thoroughly.. I enjoyed the characters so very much. The Warren family is one that are very close, and always there for each other, such a wonderful family! The closeness between Emily and Suzette are great, there easy banter makes you feel home. Then Coty, brother, Regina Puckett you know Coty needs a story, (hint, hint, wink, wink, Think about it)!!
Bill is such a stand-up guy, that has also not had the best in family, or just not a great Mother. But, luckily the Warren's family have always been there for him. There is so much past that comes to light about both families.. Bill has loved Emily for so long, but felt he wasn't good enough. Bill is such a great artist, and painting is something he loves and enjoys.. Although this is a novella, you get to know and feel like you now each one so very much..
Bill jumps to help when Suzette calls to say something is going on with Emily, Bill has always been the only one Emily ever felt comfortable talking too. It's going to take a lot patience to get her to talk, and tougher patience to give her the space and help she needs..
Emily is a soft-hearted and smart character, and has been through something that part of her blames herself. Not going into details, when this happens, and then you get stalked on top of it all. I can feel the conflicted feelings she has to give an official statement, in hopes others might come out..
I applauded all that take a stand on this issue and no matter how bad something happened, you are strong enough to tell your story, and not let someone get away!!
This book is another great book by Regina Puckett!! I adore her creative stories, the talented way she pulls us readers into the story, and the amazing characters she gives us, to make this a truly wonderful book!! Thank you so very much Regina!! Always a fan!!
Recommend to all the adores a truly amazing romance story, with mature content!! 5 STARS
