This is a wonderful story. Elise, a Pampered society girl, thrown out by her grand parents,her brother and sister sent on the orphan train. She is following the orphan train in the hope of retrieving her siblings. Blades a widowed outcast half Indian is at the depot to adopt a child. For the adoption to occur, he must be married to a white woman, she declares she is his wife. Several plot twist, story pace was good, good character development. Life had a lot in store for them, and love and happiness is found In the end.
