Virgin River by Robyn Carr

Post by leeshaas »

Reading this book is like floating down a gentle river on an inner tube! It gives you ample time to familiarize you with the characters and the small town setting.

The characters are likable. The story is believable and charming and her descriptions of the small town leaves me wanting to go down there and have a beer in Jack's bar.

This was my introduction to Robyn Carr and I will continue reading her work.

Have read all of this series. I started with Second Chance Pass, which is book #5. Then backtracked and read them in order. Each of the books is about another person in the town or another friend. It feels like coming back to visit friends with each book. Each book makes some reference to other characters from prior books. While the books are not overly graphic there is a happy mix of emotion and sex to keep it interesting, but not necessarily too much if one is easily embarrassed or offended. It is one of my favorite series and Virgin River is one of my favorite books.

I have always passed by thus author but now I think I will give her a try. Interestingly when I checked my local library they don't have any of her books.

Don't pass her by! Her series us excellent! Reading the books makes you feel like you live in the town and the people who live there are your friends! I've read the series twice now and will probably do it again in a little while. I'll always buy anything that she writes, and her newest series, Thunder Point, is very good as well!

I am currently reading Harvest Moon from the Virgin River series. So far I am enjoying the story line. I agree with you, it certainly sounds like I place I would enjoy living in. I will probably read some more of her books as well.

I just finished Harvest Moon by Robynn Carr and I enjoyed it. I liked the story line a lot and I will definitely be reading more books of hers in the future.

I really enjoyed this series. Very well written. It is great to find a series like this one that makes you feel like you are a part of the town. If you like it then I recommend that you read the Grace Valley trilogy as well. There is a small bit of character crossover involved.

I have rented The Chance by Robyn Carr from the library. So i plan to get started on that pretty soon. I am hoping it will be as good as the last one that I read. I read one from the Virgin River series, now I am going to read one from the Thunderpoint series. Hopefully I enjoy both. I am looking forward to it :)

This series has been one of my favorites! And I am so glad someone told me about them! I like the balance she has between the bedroom parts and the emotional parts! It is so nice to see that balance! I can't wait for her next book to come out!

I finished The Chance by Robyn Carr. I thought Harvest Moon was a little bit better, but I didn't think this one was terrible. I am currently reading Wild Man Creek and it seems to be pretty good.

I love this series! When I first got into reading I only read paranormal but I stumbled across this series and they made me want to read more romance. I read somewhere she doesn't plan on writing anymore in this series which I'm super sad about. BUT I've like her new seriesThunder point
