Icon I want to know about Confessions of a War Child Trilogy.

Some of my friends suggested me to read Confessions of a War Child when I asked them to suggest me about a book related war and love. I searched it up and found it on amazon. I wan't to know if I am not spending my money on crap thing. So can anyone tell me how is it? What will be your ratings out of 10?
