Great review. It sounds like the 2 out of 4 is justifiable and well explained. I also don't like books where I can't relate even a little bit to the main characters. It's too bad the flashbacks didn't work. Flashbacks are usually really interesting and add depth to the story.

Thanks! I think this work of literature could totally work if it was cleaned up a bit.

Great review but I don't think I will be adding this to my to be read list. I prefer strong female leads and it doesn't sound like Callan is one.
