Heart Strings is a novel in the romance genre that is part of the Lust List: Miles Riot series.
I rate this book at 4 out of 4.
The book talks of a girl, Abby Clarke who is a journalist for a magazine. She is tasked with writing an article on the current no. 1 band: Vitriol, later changed to Tempest Ultra. The band is made of three guys and one girl, with the lead singer being female. As a member of this band is Miles Riot, who also happens to the lead singer's brother.
In this book we discover the beginning of Abby's relationship with Miles as she joins the band for a one week tour.
At first she is hesitant to give in to her feelings for Miles, but eventually when she does, things go wrong.

The story is well scripted using the alternating personas of Abby and Miles. It is well developed and clearly shows a how the relationship between the two developed, from distrust, to friendship, to romance.
What I loved about this book was the descriptions of the characters and their thoughts and surroundings. It immerses you in the book and makes you feel like you are part of the story.
The story also shows a high level of creativity and imagination on Mira Bailee's part.

Being book 1 in this series, it definitely acts as a wonderful introduction into the series.
The suspense it leaves you in makes you want to clamor for the rest of the series.
