I am not sure that I can relate to the characters at all, and love triangles are not interesting to me. However, I think that the strength that Zia has is very intriguing. I also love how she has a supportive friend to guide her through. Congrats on a great review! :)

Drama, intrigue, suspense and murder mystery - it is all would have been really nice, if only for a one thing. Extensive sexual content. I don't like such books, because it rarely you can find one where storyline doesn't come secondary with steamy scenes. I will have to skip this, but congratulations with BOTD all the same.

A romantic thriller involving a literary agent sold me. As long as the sex scenes aren't too erotic, this sounds like a good read.

Love triangles? I sense a lot of drama and lies. Then love and crime? Powerful combination to keep you glued. Beautiful review.

I do enjoy a good love story with suspense and a plot that flows and doesn't get dry or stale as some tend to do.

A romantic and sometimes erotic novel with romance, suspense, and crime. It seems very interesting since it has animated and humorous dialogues and also unexpected plot twists. I'd give him a look as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks for the review, but I'm just not into romance novels, especially when they're "complicated", and this one will not be the exception, however "thrilling" it may be.

Though romance is a great genre to read, this love triangle seems like a good plot. Nice review.

I'm no fan of romance novels and often skip crime books, too. This one definitely isn't for my taste so I won't be reading it.

I am not usually a fan of romance novels, but this one has made me intrigued to start reading some. I like the plot of this novel especially since it is more of a crime thriller with heavy doses of romance as opposed to the other way around. I like when a novel has more than just sexual scenes in it to keep readers interested.

I like Zia's job as a literary agent. The sample pages gave a nice window into her job and its responsibilities. It was also interesting to see a quote from Calix Leigh-Reign at the beginning of the book! I enjoyed reading your review. Zia's dilemma could be darker than some of the proofs she reads!

The only thing that put me off is that the narrative includes the thoughts of a homicidal serial killer. Don't think I could handle that. I'm wondering if the author has written any romance novels without the violent angle. Thank you for your thorough review. I enjoyed it ❣🐢

Even based on the cover page, it surely shows some contents of adult scene. I'll pass on this. Congrats to the author on BOTD. Thanks for this review.

The way you described the book with very much detail, but also short and sweet, if you will. Reading this review honestly makes me want to go buy this book and read it. it all sounds so interested and I am eager to find out what happens throughout the story. Thank you so much for sharing your review!!
