After reading the review, I am considering reading the book. I am not a fan of romance novels, but at the end of the review, it was stated that it isn't just another smutty romance novel. The review leads me to believe that there is a lot more to the book than a lonely, desperate woman and mediocre love scenes.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting romance novel focusing on the relationship between Catherine, a campaign manager, and Jake, her Aussie surfer next door neighbor. How will their romance function? It might be worth a second look. Well done.
