I like your review and it makes me want to read this book even though I don't read young adult novels anymore. I can connect with April in her struggle for independence since I myself have a "helicopter mom". I am interested to see if they can keep their long distance relationship alive through their years away at college. I also like that the book was well edited and the story flowed easily from page to page.

This book will remind readers of their teenage years full of drama, passion, and love. Sounds like a heart-rending coming-of-age tale!

This review says exactly what you can expect from the book. As a hopeless romantic this seems like a perfect blend of love and relatability. The added part about songs makes it that much more entertaining!

April and Mitchell seem to be a great and cute couple. I don't think this kind of romance novel is for me, but it seems interesting for those readers who want to read about teenagers in love and the difficulties they pass through in order to be together. Thanks for the review!

This seems to be a very touching story! I expect it to be a reminder of how we transition from adolescent to adulthood! Great way to look back to our own teenage years!

Great review! The book seems a bit like "Bridged Jone's diary" to me, even though I know it doesn't have anything to do with it!

This sounds like a book I would love to read. I like a good love story. I'm also intrigued about the songs the author linked to go along with it. Thanks for a great review!

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately, after reading the sample, I think cheesy romances like this is not for me. What's more, the characters are involved with booze and drugs while being merely thirteen-year-old kids. I will skip this book.

Good review. Sounds like a real rollercoaster for a young girl. I think many young girls would be interested in this romance since they are themselves in that age group.

A young love during high-school gets tested when the two teenagers leave for college. This book seems like it has possibilities of bringing up personal high-school and college memories. Great review!

From your description I get the sense of innocent super young love, and that typical young falling in love vibe, which is more like exploring and experiencing stuff this whole topic, that's new to the two lovers. I personally prefer a typical books.

Thanks for your review! After reading it, I'm very curious about two things. First, you said the romance was "forbidden." Why was that? Secondly, I'm interested to know why you say the novel is for adults 18 and over. I don't know too many adults interested in reading about a 13-year-old girl! I'd be interested in knowing your thoughts on this.

The review was very interesting. I like books about young love, and how they unravel. Thanks for sharing.
