I commend Basara for the nice job done in this book. The development of the character Owen and other character is great. The themes explored in this book, one of which is adapting to a new environment, are superb.

I love character-driven novels, so I think I'd connect with this book. The character names are definitely unique, and many of them sound like nods to different aspects of Florida, which I find enjoyable. I'll tuck this away for a slow afternoon. Thanks for the nice review!

This fiction book from Owen's perspective seems to have a slow pacing, but also relatable moments about adapting to a new place or job, constructing relationships, dating, and other things too. It seems to contain a lot of romance too. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

The book's cover looks so stunning. It doesn't seem it would talks about a relationship in a hospital. I love to read character-driven novels, but I prefer fast-paced stories. The side characters' names are hilarious, but too many characters also could easily bother me to keep up. So this is not my kind of book. Although I'm curious about the romance theme written by a male author, I'll pass this one. Great review.

The author writes in a unique style about the life of Owen Cloud in the 1970s. Find out how Owen settles in to his new home and new job in Florida. Among the vast array of eclectic characters, will Owen find love? Read Sip Lake to find out!

This fictional novel set in the 1970s stars a relatable character facing things we can all understand, such as struggling to find passion at work, dating, finding love, and adjusting to a new environment. Also, it includes romance. It seems intriguing.

This book is a fiction novel set in Florida. It is slow-paced and oriented to mundane life moments. I liked Owen's character who faces things we all can understand, like struggling to find passion in work, dating, and adapting to new surroundings.
The review is great.

Thank you for your interesting review. Though generally I like faster paced books, on occasion, a slow paced book that character driven is good. It is a nice to see a book like this written by a man for a change. Gives it a different perspective. I think I will add this to my list of books to read.

The a book seems to be about romance and it's not and focuses mainly on the chief character though there are still other characters that play quite essential roles. It also seems to be boring and on the other hand enjoyable as long as you see the author's point of view. It is rated 4 out of 4 by the reviewers and tends to be a good boo with reading

A simple and interesting story line, going by the name, I wouldn't have successfully judged the content of the book. This is a well written book and I enjoyed reading every part of it.

Owen seems like an interesting character, I'm intrigued to learn why he moved to a small town. I also think many people can relate to the themes the author explores. However, slow plots are not my thing and the excess of characters worries me a bit; so I'll pass on this one.

The story of Owen can be very helpful for everyone who is bored with the daily same routine. But since the book is slow paced, I would probably ignore this one.
