I don't read romance novels that much, but hearing that this book is quite medically informative got me intrigue. Maybe I'll try to read it. Thanks for the review.

This is an interesting storyline. As someone who loves romance novels, this is a must read and I would love to join the journey of Rory and Amir, as they fight for their love. Congrats on the BOTD.

It's usually not an easy thing when found in a situation like this. Roy parents have seen her like the family liberator. I hope love leads at the end and that she is right about him. Congratulations on the botd.

I like this review, it gives me all the information that I need to want to read the book.
I like books like this, with complicated stories, many pressures on the characters and many hard decisions to be made.
My only question is: did Rory make the "right" decision?
I'll have to read the book!

This sounds like a great romantic novel about a forbidden love affair. I really hope Rory will be okay, and that she chooses what's in her best interest.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

The intriguing element in this romantic story intrigued me, and I would love to read this story to know whether Rory wins her love or remains within her cultural boundaries.

I love your comment about the book resembling a medical show. To me, this demonstrates that it was well thought out and contained a good amount of detail, particularly when bringing in numerous dramatic scenarios involving religion, culture, and family. Thank you for the review! I am looking forward to reading this book.

I love a good romance, especially if it has some intrigue to the story. I also love medical dramas. So this book sounds like one I would really get into. I am looking forward to seeing how this story all plays out in the end. Great job in getting #BOTD!

Thank you for your very detailed and insightful review on this romance and medical drama story. Your review gave lots of helpful information and guided readers to be interested in reading it. I read a few pages of the free book and saw some profanity, so unfortunately I won’t be reading any further. It’s a shame too, sounds like a great book.

I am not sure if this is a book I want to read, as it seems like one poorly written romance-erotic novel that has been done over and over again.

Even though this book is categorized under romance, it seems like it is much more. The female main character feels strong and determined, and the reader experiences what it's like as a medical student. Great review!

Thank you for the great review. There are some books in the romance genre I like, but I needed to read the sample and your review to know for sure. I did like Rory's backstory and the fact that it was told in the first person. Also, the great editing is a definite plus. I have added it to my list of books to read.

This is not my kind of romance novel. It's a bit too steamy for me. It is written in a very down to earth way, exactly as a teenage girl would speak about sex and her desire to have it. She is also ambitious. All this made more complicated due to her strict Jewish upbringing, being told that she was destined to be brainy (become a doctor) and not beautiful, and her parent's disapproving of the love of her life, handsome Surgeon Amir. Lots of conflict and drama, internal and external. No romantic sugar coating here. The Author/Authoress has stuck to how life really plays out between males and females.

Although I'm not a big fan of romances, I do enjoy them now and then. Out of experience when you take romance and mix it with a medical drama, it normally turns out to be an interesting read. I'm rather excited to start reading. Thanks for a great review.

The intricate storyline of The White Coat Effect, with its mix of love, cultural conflicts, and family loyalty, has piqued my interest. I'm excited to uncover Rory's choices and see how it all unfolds.
