Thanks to everyone for commenting! I'm noticing the book has a new cover -- I must say it's gorgeous and a huuuuge improvement from the previous one. Maybe the rest of the book got updated, too.

The premise is really cool about how people's inner demons can manifest in a really dark way and kill people in their sleep. I'm sure once the errors are cleared up the book will be much better. Great and thorough review!

It's interesting that "inner demons" is a common theme I've been noticing lately in literature and television. This could be a reflection of the awareness we now have of mental health and depression that plague our society.
I love paranormal themes and do not shy away from graphic content. I'm more off put by cheesy romance but I might give this one a go since it seems that are other plot points at work. Thank you so much for the thorough review!

Thanks for this super thorough review! I’m not really a fan of the dark paranormal romance, but it sounds like this one might be a good choice for those who are.

The title is captivating and the plot is quite interesting. Books with dark romance are adventurous for the readers. Congrats to the Book of the Day. Thank you for this great review.

Thanks for the review. I love reading light sweet romance but the story has a lot of violent moments which which I won't enjoy . I guess I will pass reading this book.

This book captivated me from the first page. Jamie Connor's character reminds me of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake with the not everything black and white view on life, with the inner conflict of her actions and feelings and the strength of doing the right thing even in the most difficult scenarios.

Definitely looking forward for all the actions what Jamie can bring to my life.

A very interesting concept, but not sure the book follows through. Sounds like it gets lost a little bit and ruins some of the ingenuity of the story. Thanks for the thorough review of this book!

The battle between good and evil comes to life in this thriller. Jamie, heaven's mightiest archangel comes to earth to stop demons, only to end up entangled with Collin, a witty demon with a flair for the dramatic.

I have to admit the story sounds like it could be an interesting one. especially with the romance. It seems somewhat complex as well, but i do not mind that. I unfortunately do not thin i want to subject myself to the plot, as it has the sexual violence, murder, and other aggressive situations. Being a survivor of physical and mental violence , it is a sensitive subject for me. congrats on the BOTD.

Thanks for your review! The premise of angels and demons being able to enter people's dreams is very unique! Some of the gratuitous mentions of rape and violence are a bit off-putting to me. Additionally, the timeline is confusing as well. Hopefully Jaime's actual history is more fleshed out in future installments. I'm curious to learn more about Jaime and Collin's romance.

I definitely did not like Nightmare on Elm St. It gave me nightmares as a kid, so I'm not sure how I feel about demons killing their victims in their sleep in this read  I do like that self-destructive dark angel Jamie comes and battles the demons. Collin sounds like a monkey wrench in her killing demons! The back-and-forth between desire and the need to kill Collin seems logical and an interesting plot point. I'm not a fan of graphic content, and it's too bad about the grammatical errors. Also, it's too bad that the timeline seems off, but I'm glad you found the premise ingenious and that you enjoyed this read! Thank you for the detailed review!

I guess one has to be open-minded to read this book. I like dark gripping reads, it has a certain cynical nature. Thank you for your review!

This book seems like the perfect thing to give me nightmares! Haha, I'll pass on this one. Plus, the idea of following the relationship between "demons" seems very unappealing...

Interesting idea on angels and demons. I would probably skip it due to the romance, though. Nice review.
