I'm absolutely addicted to these books. I've read them all twice, and I've read a few of them three times. My favorite character is probably Zsadist, but every character in the books is really well developed so it's hard to choose only one. I hope you enjoy the series!

I am so addicted to this series that I have them on my Kindle and in paperback. I would have to say that Zadist is my favorite of them all. I have actually started my friends reading this series (I had to write down who borrowed which book).

Does anyone else wonder if Manny will decide to go through the change like Butch did? We actually did not get to know his or Payne's characters as well as we did the others. I am hoping that means that there will be more coming in the future. I also think we will be seeing more of Xcor and Layla's story coming about... I can't wait.

I loved this series! When I met J.R. Ward the first time she dropped the f bomb within the first 30 seconds. She is pretty funny. She said the character "V" hates her and that writing his book was like a water boarding session. I agree that she does the homo-erotic subtext like a master painter working on the Mona Lisa.
I told her that when I recommend her books to friends that I tell them; reading any of her books is like riding a dirt bike with the bad boy your mother told you not to be around. And coming back with your skirt rumpled and your underwear wadded up in your purse.
She really loves her fans. She says she doesn't want to be a firebrand but can't back away from her characters. She makes me want to write. So I meet her and want to be a writer and then I read the latest book and get intimidated.

This is one of my favorite series. JR Ward is an excellent writer who pulls you into the story and keeps you reading way past bedtime! I've read up to the very latest in the series and am always waiting eagerly for the next in the series.

I've read a couple of the black dagger brotherhood books in print before I switched to the audiobook version and prefer the audio version because the narration is superb and I can listen while I do menial tasks. I enjoy experiencing the way Wards imagination comes to life with fantastic character development. Her characters were so believable that I was actually impressed with her latest book Lover at Last. I really felt for Quinn & Blay and believed they really deserved their HEA. But truly the main read her books is because I know that there will be HEA at the end of each story.

I love this series and have the books in both paperback and ebook versions. I think Zadist is my favorite with Vishous running a close second.

My favorite character was Z. Although, I lost interest pretty quickly after that.

It did seem to slack a little, but I did love Tohr's story. I would love to hear more on Pain and also the Iam and Trez.
