I am sure the sightings of various crows by Gregory Que created signs scenarios in his head that made him think that they truly mean something. Congratulations on BOTD.

He takes us around his romantic life while telling us the stories of four important women. He shares secrets with each, involving his past, present, and future.
- I'm curious to know these secrets. Will he tell them to me too, if I read the whole book? The review was fantastic. Thank you.

Filled with mystery, intrigue, and suspense, today's BOTD is a romance novel that follows Que's relationship with four women and how those interactions relate to encounters with crows. Readers who enjoy stories set in the 80s and 90s, as well as those with an appreciation for hip-hop, are going to want to pick this one up today. I've added it to my WTR list. Thank you! :-)

This review beautifully captures the essence of "The Cackling of the Crows" by Neal Sellers. The symbolism of the crows adds depth to Que's journey, and the narrator's conversational style, peppered with humor, engages the reader effectively. The educational aspect is a bonus, enriching the reading experience. While the referencing and occasional shifts in focus could be refined, the overall storytelling and editing quality shine through, earning a well-deserved 5 out of 5 rating. It sounds like a compelling read, especially for fans of romance and hip-hop.

The Cackling of the Crows by Neal Sellers offers a unique blend of humor and romance through the eyes of its charming protagonist, Que. I was particularly drawn to how the book intertwines Que's romantic life with intriguing lessons about life, like the unexpected educational tidbits on psychology versus psychiatry. It's like listening to an old friend recount their colorful adventures, complete with all the drama and laughter one might expect.

Your commendation of the book's educational aspects, such as the explanations of psychological terms and the interesting fact about a group of crows being called a "murder," highlights the author's ability to blend entertainment with informative elements easily.

I don’t really like romance novels, but I can’t see much here. Que just seems to be living his life and that includes women. Congratulations on BOTD!

Crows have long been connected to the supernatural. How they are incorporated into this suspenseful and romantic plot seems intriguing.

"The Cackling of the Crows" by Neal Sellers. The author shares Gregory Que's romantic experiences with four women in his life. The author uses a casual writing style with occasional jokes, making it a fun read. I can relate to the protagonist's feeling that crows seem to know something and that there is something peculiar about them. Congrats on BOTD!!

Great review! It’s intriguing to me that with the appearance/symbolism of crows, you would likely expect this story to fall under a more action-based genre, such as a crime thriller or mystery. Yet, this is about romance! Granted, romance obviously has its own styles of adventure and suspense and none of that should be underestimated.
From the very first chapter, the narrator was out to teach. For instance, he was right when he said not many people knew the difference between psychology and psychiatry.
I myself forget what the difference is ALL THE TIME. I may just go back and look it up now lol.

Congrats to the author on BOTD!

What is it with Que and the sound of the crow. It sounds creepy. Well, I guess I'll know from this book.

"The Cackling of the Crows" by Neal Sellers is about Gregory Que who suddenly started seeing crows in his life. In his life, Que had four important women and shared secrets from his life with them. I like that the book is full of humor.
