Well-constructed review, erasmus. The book, it seems, has many potentials but, perhaps, was published too soon. Sometimes the authors (especially self-published authors) release the first drafts of their books.

It's really too bad about the rating, because from your summary, the book sounds really interesting. For instance, the vacation time Karen, who I take is one of those goals before friends types, is certainly something clever and funny on the author's part. And now she has to go back home and all that.

Certainly, Karen is an interesting person to read about. It's really unfortunate the story didn't deliver.

Thanks for reading my review!
