It's a very interesting read.
I must say I liked the flow of the story, clearly making it easy to follow. The characters are well defined leaving no confusion on who is playing what role.

From the story i deduce that Cyrus and Lyla are the major characters. I liked the finishing though I still think that it was so abrupt. The author should have told us whether the couple ended up marrying and if the parents especially Lyla's father was comfortable with it.

I really enjoyed the book. It's also an eye opener in what happens in the Islamic world. The story is very rich in cross-cultural heritage, I learnt a lot.

Thank you for reviewing this book. It was well-written. I also considered reviewing it, but ended up with another one, and Escape was placed on my "Want to Read" list. This review is very encouraging.

I agree with you. I loved this book. Its a very interesting book. There's one character i hated the most...MOHAMMAD, for taking advantage of women.

A steamy romance with some elements of a thriller and a strong female protagonist sounds good! It is great that the pace is good and the book is easy to follow. Thank you for the review!

This is definitely not a romance novel topic I've already seen... "a sexy romantic thriller with a focus on the dangers of a nuclearized Middle East." Let's see how this pans out!

Escape (Tip of the Spear Book 1) by Belle Ami.

Layla is worried that her parents won't accept her boyfriend, Zamir. That becomes her least of worries when she is kidnapped and taken to Iran. Iran’s secretive intel organisation sends Cyrus, a spy to rescue her. Cyrus finds her extremely attractive and fears that his carefully constructed cover may be blown to smithereens as her kidnapping would create an international incident. Will everything end in their favour? Will they return safely?

Oh, interesting. I might want this. Imma put this on my shelf for future reference. Because I'm not really a fan of the pure-romance-too-cheesy story. Sometimes we really can tell how the story would end. But if it has action-packed scenes, you got me. Let's rock.
