Haven't picked up a romantic novel in a while and this one has piqued my interest because of the character's way of processing his grief. Would love to read this book. Thanks for the review.

Marc Marci seems like a compelling coming of age story. I believe anyone experiencing a gender identity crisis or going through gender transitioning will benefit from reading this book. Great review.

The themes of this book are always rare. The author put in a lot of work in writing this. Thanks for the review.

how is being a woman is who he realized he wants to be. For such a nice story line lesbian is a great turn off for me. Like there are lots of thing out there on can decide to be and you chose an opposite gender. Woah. Nice review

I'm definitely intrigued by the philosophy question embedded in the story – I hope that, at least, the author did talk about it a little, since it's very difficult to get a "right" answer for these types of things. The book sounds like a very good character study.

This topic isn't something I'm interested in so I'll pass. I'm sure many other readers will find the book interesting and maybe even helpful. Thanks for the informative review!

This is the first time I am seeing a book about the challenges a transgender faces. I am looking forward to reading this book, as I believe there is so much to learn from this book. Great review and congrats on making the book of the day.

I definitely want to read this book. Is very little that authors take on the transgender issue and I like that. I'm sure it could be very informative to people that either don't want to or can't understand that part of life. Thanks for a great and informative review. Congrats on BOTD.

The phrases ‘exploring their gender’ and ‘explore the female in him’ are telling: the implication being that sexuality is voluntary rather than biological. At any rate, I suspect that this is bound to be a controversial book.

I thought this book is another one of those usual contemporary romance. But, after reading the book review, I realized it's more than that. It has so many themes that I think not usually in a chick lit novels.
