The legacy of Job's wife is that she helped him to prosper and remain in the good favor of God. She is also remembered for her sacrificial work.

The Legacy of Job's Wife by Cynthia Koelker is a modern retelling of the Biblical character Job, however, it is told from his wife's, Ix'ises, point of view.

Heard about Job's story in Church masses, but haven't really thought about his family's struggles and side
story. It will surely be enjoyed by readers who love Christian related stories.

I was wondering why the character hated God, so I read the book. It was interesting, I was moved that love and forgiveness always prevails. I love the concept so much! :o

'Official Review: The Legacy of Job's Wife' by Cynthia Koelker is a useful commentary on the fictional story of romance for readers. It brings to the knowledge of readers, the relevant points of the book. The point that the book points to man's desire to understand God's actions and the devastating nature that painful events have on faith is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the author must have carefully considered different aspects when coming up with the story such as the terrain, the cuisine, the culture, and the architecture, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book contains vivid moments told through heart-warming descriptions!

This seems quite interesting as Job has also been mentioned in Quran. I would love to find out how his description and portrayal are similar and different in the two holy books. Also, it would be a pleasure to see how the author has handled the story in her book.

Being from a different faith and not well-versed in Biblical teachings, but still, find some interesting aspects in the form of Job and his love for Ix’ises.

I had the opportunity to read this book not long ago, and I loved it. I am not a religious person, while I do believe in God and grew up Catholic I have stopped going to Church because that is life. I enjoyed the way this book deepens into the Biblical tale and gives the character a new perspective.

This is a very mesmerizing picture of what one should expect from this book without giving away the details. A different point of view always adds layers of understanding to any story.

Having grown up in a Christian home and being a believer myself, I am intrigued by stories derived from the Bible. Movies and books that don't diminish or denigrate the stories on which they are based can be very good. This is one I look forward to reading. Thank you for your review.
