I like how the girls became friends at a young age and stuck to each other till adulthood. This book sounds like it has a wholesome story. Well done on the review.

Today's BOTD sounds like an intriguing novel with a young Suzanne in the middle of a conspiracy. She becomes the Controller of the Union Coal Company and is accused of committing fraud. Is she guilty of the charges against her? If not, will she be able to prove her innocence? Read this suspense thriller to find out. Congratulations on the BOTD!

My curiosity is piqued and I cannot wait to find what the conspiracy was and how the two friends handled the whole situation. I am glad the author reiterates the importance of value-based friendship in the book. Many thanks for the informative review.

The book title did lead me off track. "Anatomy of Revenge".The word revenge triggered in me all my foolish preconceived notions and I was thinking right away that it could be a crime, a thriller, or a mystery. The word anatomy made me think there would be a step-by-step or a detailed breakdown of how a crime results, presented directly or indirectly allowing the reader to notice and analyze it along the way making it all thought-provoking. Even the picture of the book with women and a man in pose reinforced my thinking. Reading the sample made me realize the story is somewhat "wholesome" and nothing of the sort that I am thinking. The review confirmed it. The importance of a review. The review clarified that it is however a story of a conspiracy and points out changing times and the need to adapt as a lesson. Good that the review had put my reading interest into the correct expectations.
