Wigginton delivers a charming, sultry romance in A Compromising Position. The sizzling chemistry between career-driven Catherine and her alluring new neighbor Jake smolders from their first meeting. Their playful banter and stolen glances had me rooting for them as a couple. But Wigginton adds refreshing dimension by highlighting Catherine's driven nature and intense political career. The balance of steamy flirtation and compelling professional stakes made this a page-turning read. Catherine is a likable, well-rounded heroine succeeding in a cutthroat field. I enjoyed following her as she navigated love and ambition in the tropical Florida setting. A fun, indulgent romantic tale with depth.

In A Compromising Position, Wigginton crafts an engrossing romance centered around a captivating heroine. Catherine's dedication to her demanding political career adds welcome substance beyond her sizzling chemistry with handsome Jake. Their flirtatious dynamic is sure to win over romance fans. But Wigginton thoughtfully explores Catherine's focus on her professional ambitions as a campaign manager.

Diane Merrill Wigginton combines palpable romantic chemistry with intriguing professional drama in A Compromising Position. The irresistible mutual attraction between ambitious campaign manager Catherine and charming Jake immediately hooks the reader. Their witty exchanges and charged glances sizzle on the page. But Wigginton elevates the story by showcasing Catherine's fierce independence and drive in her career. Seeing her deftly juggle her role putting out fires while falling for Jake results in a compelling narrative. The sunny Florida setting sings. With a cast of well-developed characters, this is a thoroughly enjoyable escape into a passionate yet poignant love story.

A light-hearted romance book that's not smutty sounds great. The story follows Catherine, a campaign manager torn between career and love, and the sacrifices she makes in trying to find a balance. Congrats on BOTD!

A romance story in Florida sounds fun. Compromising for love is one quality that some find difficult to cultivate. How was Catherine and Jake able to work out their differences? I'd like to read this fun story.

I really love reading romance books especially one challenging the status quo. It's rear to find a female lead who, instead of pining for the male, is stuck where she needs to choose career or love. Despite acknowledging how lonely she is, it isn't an easy decision to make. I like that for her.

Thank you for the great review. This book looks at a different dimension of romance where it is the woman who determines the direction that her love life will take. Women have mostly had to juggle between career and family, and having a single, ambitious, and highly successful woman choose between romance and a career makes for a great yet relatable story. I would really like to know how Catherine reached her final resolve, and how Jake handled it all along. This is a book that most women will find both entertaining and insightful.

The truth is everyone needs love at some point; if you haven't had one, a feeling a loneliness will slowly creep in. In this book, "A Compromising Position" Diane Merrill Wigginton told the story of Catherine Lawrence as she reconciled between love and work.

The story sounds really enthralling and gripping. I am still wondering if Jake will accept to occupy the second position after career. The statement that temperature is not the only thing sizzling in Florida is succinct. This is, undoubtedly, a must-read for readers of romance. Many thanks for the captivating, informative review :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat:
