I guess I'll always be an incurable romantic, so I think I'd like Neil and Ellie's love story especially since it's interwoven with poetry and philosophy and poses interesting questions. Thanks for a great review!

Looking Glass Friends by E. L. Neve is a #Contemporary #Romance revolving around Neil and Ellie, a couple who found happiness outside their marriages. Through emails, love #Letters, and discussions about a book they both read, they fell in love with each other. Will their love triumph over the odds?

Thanks for the review.

For every romance novel that I have yet come across, they all share the same plot and story line but this one seems way more interesting and thought provoking :techie-reference:

This sounds incredible. How the whole relationship starts and develops is amazing, and I am happy that you found the book worth a perfect rating. Thanks for the review.

I'm mostly intrigued by the fact that a separate book was referenced a lot in this novel. So basically, the reader is getting two books in one. Nice review.

I'm not a huge fan of romances involving potential extramarital affairs, but I am drawn in by the potential philosophical discussions and the main characters' connection seeming to be based more on emotional and intellectual stimulation than physical attraction. I might have to check this out for that reason--and, perhaps, finally read Atlas Shrugged as well. Thank you for the insightful review.

In an era where very few people write letters, it's nice to finally have a book that reminds us of letters and the lengths to which lovers went to express their love on paper. Awesome review.

Great write-up from a wonderful writer. There are many writers out there but not all can do such an outstanding work as this. Thumb up.

If the book is half as good as this review, I say the 4 stars are well deserved. I haven't decided to read Atlas Shrugged, but I'll definitely be reading Looking Glass Friends.

Philosophy poetry and romance!? I'm out of here. Sorry but it's so not my type of reading. Great review too.

This sounds like a beautifully written, heart-breaking book! But I feel very conflicted about reading this one because it just makes me feel sad that the two couples aren't happy together and they seek happiness elsewhere. Also, I can already sense that I'm not going to get anything good from this book. I'm a sucker for romance, but not this one. This book is not my kind of read. I wish this book could have been more about unconditional love, sticking to their vows and clinging on to each other. What is it that they did to help/improve their marriage? Rather than breaking their vows and having a secret lover. I believe that in every marriage we all have our strengths and weaknesses. And it is within those weaknesses that we have the opportunity to improve than giving up, breaking up or divorce. Thanks so much for the review, but I'm going to pass on this read.

Berry, have you ever considered writing a Love Novel? because this is by far the best review I've ever read.
