"Marc Marci" is a touching exploration of identity and friendship, skillfully handling transgender and lesbian themes. The strong bonds of support and the beauty of friendship shine through. Despite minor editing concerns, it's a well-written coming-of-age story, earning 3 out of 4 stars. Recommended for those exploring identity and fans of heartfelt narratives. 📚

I enjoyed your insightful review. The book sounds interesting, especially the sensitive way the author dealt with the transgender theme. I also like that you mentioned the religious touches and clear imagery. Still, I don't care for explicit sexual content in books, so I will take a pass on this one.

I like that you mentioned the philosophical question as I love to think about those a lot. I also salute the author for doing an honest job with the controversial topic.

Despite my ignorance of the matter, I am not opposed to trying to comprehend what is going through people's heads to cause them to feel the way they do. Your review has piqued my interest in the characters enough that I could pick it if I have the chance to. Thank you for your review. Congratulations Larry, on winning BOTD!

Congrats on BOTD!
It takes a significant, sincere decision to alter one's gender. What interests me is Marc's transition into Marci. I wish we could all have the kind of friends that would always defend us. Well-written review.

Good review. I cannot say I relate to the story of Marc, but it looks like a tragic one. I hope he is happy with his gender transition. A book like this is relevant to the current political debate in America.

This book can be interesting to get a better idea of what happens when a person discovers that they're trans and start their transition. I wonder if Marci finds what she's looking for and if she's accepted by society. Thank you for your great review!

📖✨ 'Marc Marci' by Larry G. Goldsmith - a captivating exploration of love, identity, and the challenges of self-discovery. Set against the vivid backdrop of the English Coast, it's a deep dive into themes of transgender and lesbian experiences, the sanctity of friendship, and the guiding light of faith. The narrative beautifully weaves through Jewish rituals, adding another layer of depth. A must-read for those journeying through self-acceptance and anyone who appreciates a poignant coming-of-age tale. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Read the free sample from amazon and it conviced me to want to read more. The cover is simple, which makes me even more curious. Can't wait to read about a backpack journey through Europe from the perspective of a fresh high school graduate who feels like taking a break to explore the world and himself.
