I could feel the same sense of emotion as I read Lily's character. I feel she's too naive. I want to get more details from this book.

What an interesting story about a slave girl called Lily. I would love to discover how she found love and passion as a slave. It would definitely be a nice read.

I love reading stories about slaves, but the book itself seems to be a bit long and it is part of a series which makes me worried the book might drag a bit. Thanks for the review.

Sounds like an engaging story. Lily's character seems wonderful, and I'm sure it's interesting to follow her journey. However, I'm not a fan of historical fiction. Thanks for the insightful review!

This book is my cup of tea. Historical romance dramas are my favourite and I live and dream with the characters. I love this genre. I liked Lily's description and am sure would love reading the book. Thanks for a beautifully written review!

Thanks for your review. This book seems interesting, as it addresses the matter of slavery, especially the black slaves in the 19th century.

Thank you for a beautiful review. This book indeed seems like a beautiful read. I thought maybe the accent was switching based on who the characters were talking to.

Your review makes the book sound interesting. I’m tempted to read it to see how real romance could develop between a slave and the son of her owner.

It has been a while since I last read historical romance, I would like to take a look at this one since it seems very interesting. I wonder if Lilly meets her mother. Congrats to the book of the day.
