Great review! The fact that it has highly erotic content means it's not for me. Thanks anyways!

This isn't the book for me as I don't read romance like this. It does sound interesting if this is your genre with all the twists and turns. Love the tone of your review, though. Thanks.

An entertaining novel that focuses on the courtship of a wealthy womanizing banker with a woman who was not going to be easy. It looks interesting but it's not my favorite genre.

Sounds like an edgy and exciting romance, and I'm definitely into that. It's a shame when a great book has an ending that doesn't match, but since you gave it such a high rating (and your review was great) I'm game to give it a try.

Romantic novels aren't my cup of tea. It seems that this story is based on a physical attraction only, I wouldn't find it interesting.

Sex & banking is not really my kind of stuff, but for people interested in that kind of novel this one seems a must-read.

This sounds like a book that those who love dark romance will enjoy. I do like that there are some character development and mystery in the story. However, this isn't a book that I would enjoy. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

This dark romance filled with twists sounds pretty cool. I may give it a read. Thanks for the review, Stephanie. :techie-studyingbrown:

I like how realistic the plot is; relationships are not always chocolates and roses. That said, Patrick seems like a narcissistic, and people like that can put up incredulous acts of nobility just to lure their victims into their web.

The title made me assume that this book was about drugs but then I read your review and wow!
Love how you have beautifully and yet without disclosing any suspense, you have detailed all points both favourable and unfavourable about this book.
I am intrigued enough to give this book a try.

Thanks for the review. I'm not sure what to make of the book. It's good that the character's bad behaviour is not justified. I wonder if Alexandra recovers her confidence? I'm not into heavy erotic scenes, so i think I'll pass.

Fix by Lily Temperley seems very romantic and sensual. But unfortunately I can't download the free copy. It shows unavailable. Congratulations on #botd.

That was a very helpful review. I'm not yet sure if I'll read the book, but I may leave it in my list in case I feel in the mood for something along its lines. Thank you.

I'm quite fond of dark romance genre with erotica but the story offers nothing new. It wasn't able to hold my attention. I liked how you mentioned the blatant misogyny in the review because many people excuse this kind of behaviour under the garb of being an 'alpha male' and 'gentleman'. Thank you for the fantastic review!

I used to work in a bank so I get the picture: fierce competition, at times unfriendly. But the sexual tension is a surprise. I am not sure I am up to a racy read, but since the book comes free, maybe I'll give it a try.
