This is definitely a character-driven book. I like character-driven books but I'm not a big fan of romance novels. Great review btw!

That's exciting that the dual perspective gave better insight into the characters and really made the story as special as it was. I think it's great that the author was able to incorporate some of their personal history throughout the work - doing that right can really make the book. Though as you mentioned, there can be repetition when the characters themselves are rehashing their past. Great review!

I have read many typical romance novels, but this one seems to somewhat different. From your review, it looks like self discovery is more prominent as a theme than romance is. It surely sounds like an interesting book. Thanks.

It sounds like the lovers of romance novels are in for a treat with this one given that Collins' work even has a bonus bit of mystery in it.

Dual POVs are good for showing both sides of the story and how they see things differently from each other. This book has interesting characters with what sounds like an excellent plot. I’ll give it a try. Thank you for the review.

The meeting of Michael and Emma was arranged by fate. However, another chapter seems to have opened in their life as a result of this meeting. This is an amazing story to read. Thanks for the wonderful review.
