Based on your excellent review I might give this book a have in the future. There are definitely some interesting things about it but I don't feel pressure to pick it right now. I think it is good you didn't share the spoiler.

Having such good friends and a supportive uncle like Jack will help Marci during her hard times. This book will be interesting. Lovers of fictional stories will find it interesting. Nice review.

As much as I would like to know more about Marc's journey and difficulties becoming Marci, I do not think this book is for me.

I find this book to be conflicted. The Jewish belief system would reject someone who is transgender. There is also the fact that two females incited the confusion of Marc's gender. It is my own belief that a man is a man and a woman is a woman. This is not a book for me.

Book cover is amazing with a great review that shows whats in place, I would recommend this book to the young adults and older adults so as to exclude young ages from the deep marriage topics.

I know that the Jewish religion does not accept any form of LGBTQ people, as I know people from this religion who do not. As conflicting as the idea of this book is, I think it makes for a great story. Thanks for the review!

I would love to read this. It seems like the book properly represents the fears and the experiences of this side of the LGBTQ community.

It's an interesting book Marc who had challenges and identity crisis as she grew up. But she eventually finds comfort in Jewish Ministry. Thanks for the good review.

There isn't alot of books based on transgender people and it's nice to see an author attempt to tackle that. This book will provide a perspective of the transgender community that many people don't know. Congrats on the book of the day

Marc Marci has Lesbian and transgender themes. As a teenager who has suffered great loss, Marc decides to deal with his loss and face his future. He is encouraged to find his feminine side. The Jewish faith plays an important role in the story. An interesting book and a good book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

Marc's (later Marci's) story seems to go through many challenges and transitions. The open-minded approach with which taboo topics such as lesbianism and transgenderism are addressed seems appropriate. It appears that friendship and family support are other important themes in the story.
