While I don't disagree that Owen's story is motivating, romance novels are just not my type of read. Congrats on the book of the day

Good review! Sometimes I like to read a book that does not take itself too seriously. The mundane moments in life, moving to a new town, getting a job, and looking for love are things we can all relate to. Owen sounds like someone who gets along with people too. That he wants to write makes him more interesting.

Owen sounds like he has a lot of different directions to go. Finding romance through his job, adjusting to and liking his job, relating to the people he works with and much more. He sounds like a great character! Thanks for the terrific review!

Wow, this seems really interesting. Owen has a mentality that makes him love doing a lot of different things, so I'm interested to read more to learn if he was able to find love in the hospital setting.

It will be nice to read a romance story from a male perspective. The central character, Owen, sounds fascinating. I think I will like to read this book.

I really enjoy books/TV shows that take place in the hospital. It sounds like a charming story with well-developed characters and engaging subplots. Thanks for the detailed review.

I enjoy male POVs as I don't usually gravitate towards them when picking my next read. But I still find them fascinating when I do encounter them. So to read thay this follows a male character's life and a mundane one at that, this is definitely a must read for me. I'm a sucker for a small town story.

This looks like a kind of book that would be relaxing to read. Doesn’t seem to be overwhelming with drama.

The story is about Owen moving and settling in a new environment. The challenges of making new friends, adapting with the local culture and being an integral part of the community were what Owen struggled with. This will be a good read for those trying to settle in a new environment. Good book to read.

I don't think I'll be reading this book since it's more of a general fiction with some romance. Slow-paced and mundane life themes are not my cup of tea. I'm just curious about the ridiculous names. I wonder why the author used them. My favourite one is Sugar Cane.
