My favorite romance authors would have to be Kerrelyn Sparks and Lynsay Sands. I have almost all of their books. The ones I don't own I have checked out from the library.

I can't pick genres, so my favorite in contemporary writer is Nicole Williams. She focuses on young relationships filled with troubled backgrounds and drama as they work through their issues, find happiness, and then work through more issues. You never know which way those characters are going to jump or what dark secret is going to emerge next, plus her characters are full of spunk and sarcasm, which I just love. Alexandra Ivy is probably my favorite paranormal author. Her characters have a lot of variety, and she incorporates a lot of different mythology into her works to create complex political situations, which allow for a long series and a lot of different types of characters. For outer space stuff, M.K. Eidem is my favorite. She has this planet of men with almost no women. These guys are tough warriors, but they turn shy and adorable when faced with a woman actually wanting to talk to them and care about them.

My favorite romance author will always be Nicholas Sparks! He writes story's that keep you hooked and you never know whats coming. I love his writing and the way I feel every emotion possible in the couple hundred pages. Jojo Moyes, however is climbing her way up the ladder. Her writing and story's seem to be similar to Nicholas Sparks and I am enjoying every word!

Julie Garwood was the first romance author I read, so she's definitely one of my favorites (her historicals, not her more recent series). I like Galen Foley's books because she does a very good job with her historical research compared to a lot of other historical romance novelists. I think overall, though, my favorite currently is Sarah MacLean. She is amazing at keeping the focus on the relationship between the protagonists while still incorporating them into a compelling plot. I also feel that the pacing of her novels is superior to many others. The relationship develops at the right pace, in the best ways.

Robyn Peterman bc her books are also hilariously inappropriate.

My favorite romance/NA authors will have to be S.C Stephens and recently Elle Kennedy. S.C Stephens hooks me with her writing every single time (and I'm not talking only about the Thoughtless series) and Elle Kennedy's "The Deal" was such a refreshing read. I'm looking forward to her next book of the 'Off Campus' series to come out.
