'Official Review: The Prodigy Slave: Book One: Journey to Winter Garden' by Londyn Skye presents a vivid and illustrative picture of the contents of the romantic fiction tale. Readers will benefit from the thorough knowledge it provides related to the book. This is the story of the protagonist's musical journey to success. The book reflects on the degrading nature and indignity brought about by the nature of slavery. The author delves into the issues of children being snatched away from their mothers and minors witnessing their auction in the slave market. It was great to learn that the book is entertaining and enlightening!

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the "slave code" introduction to each chapter. I wasn't expecting quite the erotic parts in a non-erotic version, but it was beautifully done. I have read this book and the next two because I found it enticing. I hope that others will read this wonderful story.

It grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go. It's one of those that makes you feel all kinds of sadness, anger, hope and love. Lily's story is a perfect mix of drama, romance and super shocking historical moments.

Thank you for a well written review! Slavery is never an easy topic to read about, but I'm always happy when there are people who can shed some light on the past in a way that catches more attention than a history book can for a lot of people, and can also add a relatable side for others as well. This is definitely a book I can't wait to add to my TBR collection!

I saw this pop up on the book of the day. I don't know anything about this "Slave Code" so it may be an informative read for me, on top of the fact that I do enjoy a good romance novel. I just downloaded it, but haven't read it yet.

This is a raw and exciting romance book featuring several themes such as slavery. I can't wait to watch the tv series!

Despite being fiction, this book would be an excellent example of how slaves were treated during the slave era, especially the double standards that people had against others simply because of their skin complexion. Thanks for the review.

A romance story with a touch of history seems to blend so well. I am really grateful that there is no longer such slavery in the current world. Discrimination due to skin tone is so bad and the slaves during those times really suffered.
Thanks for the engaging review!
