This book is a fantastic and unique take on the story of Job, with emphasis on his wife. Little is known about this woman, and I believe this book will give life to her character.

I'm sure many Christians can relate to this nice story. The amount of research this author did to bring this story to life is commendable considering how little is said about Job's wife in the Bible. Congrats on the BOTD!

This book is relatable as I have found my faith waiver multiple times as friends and family members have died. Thank you for your review.

The faith in God requires balance so that you don't get carried away by too much happiness or grief.
Review is excellent and easy to understand.
As far as I have read the book, it sounds interesting.

I have heard the story and read the story of Job so many times. But I have never really stopped to think about what his wife endured. After getting a taste of the writer's style in the sample, I would be interested in finishing the book. The reviewer did a terrific job summarizing the book.

Even though I am Christian, I have no desire to read this book. I like that author gave a perspective of a less know character.

Reading about Job's story from another perspective is intriguing. Seeing things from his wife's eyes is even more interesting. The author has done a creative job of putting this story together and providing more clarity. Congrats on BOTD.

Incredible flashbacks of Job's story. l must say Onlinebookclub is doing amazing things. Seriously stories like this are only heard at church once in a blue moon, that was by the way. However Job's wife played a challenging role in the book even though herself knew all faith and hope was lost, very fragile. Great review.

Retelling the story from a female perspective seems to draw attention to society’s view of women back then. It also revives interest in looking at the portrayal of female characters in the Bible. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

As I am a Muslim, I would like to read such novel and compare it to what Islam mentioned about the God's prophet Job.

I read this outstanding book recently and have to say it is so deserving of 4 stars: if It were possible I’d have given it 10 stars. The storyline kept me invested till the very last page and the imagery was exceptional in its detail. I pondered over every word and look forward to reading another Biblical novel by this exceptional author.

The book of the day preview demonstrates a vividly emotional and very descriptive writing style. It brings the age old story of Job to life.

While I don't align strongly with the religious views, this book still seems like a tender romance novel. This review's pushed me closer to reading it than I'd have imagined!

The last time I heard the story about Job and his wife was when I was young, and it was from the viewpoint of Job's role and getting to read it now from his wife's point of view is remarkably interesting.
