The author beautifully portrays the bond of friendship through the relationship between Beth and her best friend, Suzanne. Despite having different personalities, the two girls are inseparable and support each other through life's ups and downs. This aspect of the story emphasizes the importance of having friends who challenge and inspire us.

James and Beth are lucky to have each other and I believe that Jessie was a good dad for being able to take up the responsibility of training Beth alone. Would love to know what happens at the end.
