Crows are very intelligent species of birds. We Hindus believe that you cannot reach heaven till a crow comes and eats the offered food. Oftentimes, this food is what the deceased person likes. Congratulations on BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

I'm interested to know what the conclusion of those hovering crows is perceived to be. This book sounds like it's packed with lightheartedness even though the title might suggest otherwise.

Thank you for a great review. Que's connection with the crows is beckoning. My suspicions point to the four women referenced as important; I guess it is a matter of reading the book to find out if I am correct.
Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

I don't really like how the book sounds in description, especially in the part: "He shares secrets with each, involving his past, present, and future", because it seems private and intimate, the sign of trust and closeness, and I feel sharing it on the book's pages somehow cheapens the relationships in my opinion.

Well, I am not a fan of hip-hop, but the romance story sounds equally fascinating, and I would love to read and find out how each story goes. The fact that the author is able to capture the reader's attention and enable me to ask questions concerning what is to come next makes the book sound suspenseful. This is already on my want-to-read shelf. Many thanks for the amazing review.

This romantic suspense novel is set during the eighties and nineties in Brooklyn, New York. Experience Gregory Que's different romances and explore hip hop culture along with the themes of good and evil, love, and nostalgia. After reading Chris Powell's book review, I am quite intrigued and can't wait to read the book!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story following Que, the narrator and main character, as he tells us the story of his romantic life and about four important women in his life. All the while seemingly seeing crows throughout his life. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This audiobook presents a romantic story with touches of humor. The mystery surrounding the meaning of Que's encounters with crows is intriguing. The educational nature is also an appealing aspect of this work.

The book’s conversational tone, peppered with jokes and pauses, makes it relatable and enjoyable. Neal Sellers’ skill with words and the addictive effect of the storytelling keeps readers guessing and eagerly turning the pages. It’s as if the author is sharing the story directly with a friend through Que voice. 5 out of 5 for a impressive book with an amazing review 🌟

According to the reviewer, the book is about a man who came across crows in mist of the events that happened to his life and did not understand why. He also tells if his romantic life and stories of four important women. The book is also funny and has an educational touch to it.

The Cackling of the Crows by Neal Sellers is a nice and interesting romance, well-written and well-developed. The crows generally represent something dark and obscure, but in this case they are used in a different way. Thanks for your nice review.

In my opinion, this story goes beyond mere romance because it features crows, which will compel readers who enjoy study to learn about the regular occurrence of these "deadly birds," which are considered to be unfavorable omens for some cultures or the nation at large. Congrats on BOTD.

:tiphat: Sure, this is my taste. Is it the review that has prompted me to like it? Yes, it is. The author has used Neal to craft the novel's message in a very fashionable way. The themes of love and education have been well structured through humour, suspense and dialogue . The poetic alliteration in the title, ' Cackling .... crow', is eye catching.

Que's inquisitive nature leaves me tail-wagging. He asks question on 'psychology' and ' ' 'psychiatry' which sound obvious but are tough. However, the message is brought humorously, and therefore is enjoyable. I recommend the book in totality. :techie-reference:

What could the crows be up to? Murder?

I'm intrigued with the hip-hop. And the jokes too.

I also wonder about Que. Is he Spanish or Chinese?
