A prodigy trapped within the confines of being a slave who is uncaged by her owner's son. Excellent review, you made the book appealing.

A rollercoster of emotions between the sadness of a child being ripped from her mother's arms and the optimistic tone of the friendship, love and a young woman finding her own self. Great review. Not sure if I will read the book but the I loved the narrative.

This is emotional. I found the plot very intriguing and entertaining. The act of the child taken away from the mother is truly a intense situation, even by reading this review I can feel that. I can't wait to read this whole book. Thanks for the insightful review and congratulations to BOTD

Lily must have been very secretive; James discovers her ability to play the piano many years after they become friends.

There are people who have talent in which if you are not close to them you won't know, this story is a nice series, people are not only slave when captured someone can be a slave emotionally, due the the circumstances surrounding them,I would recommend this book to those in distress, it's a good piece for comfort.

This book seems to have a variety of unique aspects to it, in terms of being found in a romance novel. First, you have a love story involving a slave. Then you have her piano talents. I haven't read ut, but I feel like this "punishment" is going to be unique as well! Great review!

When I first saw the title I was unsure about this book. But this book about an enslaved woman trying to find her family and also discovering her talent for the piano sounds absolutely inspiring. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

From the short bio of the author, we learn that she wrote the book out of frustration. She loved romances but most were lacking in depth. She wanted to remedy that. I'm excited to see her work. Will Lily's music be enough to free her? I wonder if James would be her sweetheart. Would their child be named Harry?

I'm not a big fan of cliffhangers, but I will give this historical romance a try. Great review!
