I love a good, angsty romance, but the philosophical bent of this one sounds mind-bending. I had difficulty following it just reading your review. I dread thinking of how I would fare with the book! I think I'll pass on this one for now but thanks for the thorough review!

Quite intriguing idea. I was interested while reading review about this book and like to think it is sure indication I won't be bored reading it as well)) What i like the most through is that this book is not your typical romance, but there is some deep thoughts put on the pages.

What a lovely title and review! My interest is piqued! I must say too that even though it’s been maybe two decades since I read Atlas Shrugged, I remember the impact it made on me like it was yesterday.

The review gives an account of the content of the book and also the reviewer’s interpretation or reading of it. Obviously a favorite, her passion is catching, so I will probably read it myself.
It seems to be a sort of life after life, considering that the action starts with a failed suicide.
How intriguing it is to be ”looking glass friends”!

This book sounds like one of those rare gems that is just begging to be read. Even for those not partial to romance novels, this has enough philosophical undertones to make it an outstanding read. Will definitely be giving this one a try. Brilliant review - well done!

Beautiful review. Looks like another captivating story about a complicated love, challenging situations, and difficult choices. Tried to read it today since it's free. This brilliant novel captured my attention from the first page and held it until the end. Im pretty sure readers will fall in love with the characters and not want the story to end. Thank you for your recommendation!

Although I am sure many people like this type of book, I do not. The first chapter had me really depressed and discussed it like it puts me in a bad mood. When I read a book oh, I would like for it to transport me to another world, preferably happy. And this book just doesn't do that for me I'm not knocking the author or anyone who likes this story, however I am saying that to each his own. I just couldn't imagine being involved in a relationship with someone who just took a pistol out of his mouth ready to blow his brains out like seconds before you walk into the room, and then have the nerve to sleep with you in the next. It's just it's weird. I wouldn't recommend this book to any one unless you are ready to be sucked down into a black hole of depression and suicide.

I think "Looking Glass Friends" by E L Neve is a romantic novel in the true sense. Friendship and love all come into play. I think I will enjoy reading this book.

An excellent review of a book that I thought I wasn't interested in. But the reverence to Atlas Shrugged changed my mind completely. I love that book and a book like this which refers continually to it can only be worth reading. I now look forward to reading my copy, and then possibly reading Ayn Rands book again!

I'm not usually fond of romance novels, but the mix of romance, personal drama, philosophy, and literature caught my attention. It's also refreshing to see a love story between two married adults who have a hard time pitting their established lives and compromises against their newfound romance. Thanks for the review!
