Re: First romance novel

My first real romance novel was "River's End" by Nora Roberts. I was only like 11 or so. I'm not sure what my mom was thinking, allowing me to read a book with huge sex scenes in it, but I loved it. All of her Nora Robert's books were permanently relocated to my room after that. At one point, I had all of her books. I still have every book on preorder for the Kindle from the moment I hear their release date.

I tried to get into some of the Danielle Steele and other prominent authors, but they just couldn't compare. I do like the classics though.

I'm not sure, but I guess my first romance novel was After by Anna Todd.

My first romance novel was A Long Tome Coming by Sandra Brown.
I remember that it was just a random pick up at the library. It was almost falling off the table that it was placed on. And I thought maybe this book is calling me.
I have since bought my own copy of the book and read it so many times that the spine is cracked. I don’t know what keeps drawing me back to it but it pulls on the heart each and every time I read it.

Kissing Sin by Keri Arthur 🥵 Read it in my teens and didn't even realize it was the second in a series until years later. It was my stepping stone into seggsy books and I remember being so scandalized by some scenes and now it's far tamer than some of the things I read.

Yes I remember mine.
It was called Tanner’s Scheme by Lora Leigh.
It is a science fiction romance. I have the complete series now. There was something about that book where there was only one perfect person out there for you and once found you were never alone again.

A walk to remember by Nicholas Sparks, it really affected me how sick she was, and how she could change Landon's life to the better even after she passed, and I found it only recently that the book was based on his little sister

Of course I remember it! It was about 12 years ago in my last year of high school. My first romance novel was Pride and Prejudice, I can say I loved everything, but the narration and the determination of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. It was truly a novel that left a mark on me.

Fortunately and Unfortunately 'Twilight'
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

The first book in the romance genre that I ever read was Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Right from the beginning I became her fan and since then have read all her novels. Her stories are still relevant and she is one of the best writers.

My first ROMANCE novel was LUCKY IN LOVE by Carolyn Brown. It is an interesting story about a cowboy who has luck with everything but unlucky in finding true love.

The first novel I ever read was a romance novel, Permanent Fixture by Janet Joyce. I found it abandoned in the apartment we moved to in high school. I have explored many genres by now and haven't stopped reading.

I left it in that house when I moved. I have been looking for a copy since then, but haven't found one yet.

For the name of the first romance book : I don’t remember the name of the book I remember it was a Harlequin romance book. My mom started me reading them. I felled in love with the story lines, the ability to make me believe that it was real even when I knew it wasn’t. I wanted to follow along and not stop reading. For along time I never stopped reading Harlequin Romances.

Yes, I remember.

Its name is Barely.

It was about two teenagers who fell in love but were, unfortunately, going to be step-siblings in a few weeks. This story made me cry, both out of happiness and sadness. I could say that it was THE BEST book I have ever read.
