Savannah is desperate to reclaim the lost spark between her and her husband, and she’s willing to try just about anything to get it back! Caught in the vicious cycle of work-eat-sleep-repeat, Savannah dreams of exotic locations and adventures with the man she loves. Convinced that breaking out of their routine is the key to happiness and longevity in their new marriage, Savannah and Johnny take a holiday to Thailand where they envision white sandy beaches, romantic dinners, and passion-filled nights. Or at least that’s what Savannah had in mind. When Johnny shares some of his hidden fantasies with his wife, Savannah is forced to confront suppressed desires and reestablish sexual boundaries within her marriage. This devoted wife is dedicated to enhancing her marriage by any means necessary, but what if the thing her husband desires could also push them further apart?
In Lost and Love: Thailand (Book One of the Lost and Love Series) author Stella Knights shares a story that might be familiar to some; the tale of two incompatible people trying desperately to stay together instead of following their heart into the unknown. It’s evident from the start of the novel that Savannah is unhappy with her lackluster profession, her unsupportive husband, and her unfulfilling sex-life. Sometime since graduating from college, moving abroad, and getting married, Savannah has lost sight of her goals, desires, and overall sense of self. However, one thing that has remained intact is her sense of adventure. As the story progresses, Savannah is forced to decide if she and her husband have grown apart or if perhaps, they never really knew each other in the first place.
There are several instances when you want to jump onto the story, shake Savannah, and point out the countless red flags in her relationship, but you also might relate to her selfless desire to put her significant other’s needs before her own. Knights does a magnificent job creating likable characters that add relatability to wild circumstances. While the storyline mainly revolves around the ups and downs within Savannah’s romantic partnership, the novel also touches on platonic relationships and the importance of seeking support from your inner circle. This is where Pam comes in, Savannah’s co-worker and trusted confidant who is always available to discuss life (and husbands) over a bottle of red wine. Savannah and Pam are two girlfriends that I would love to invite into my girl club. Their supportive and non-judgmental relationship is full of surprises, stories, and endless laughter. Savannah and Pam’s friendship was my favorite aspect within the novel, and I enjoyed watching the characters’ overall growth and development as the story progressed.
I rate Lost and Love: Thailand four out of four stars. This romantic, fast-paced text is easy to read and appears to be professionally edited and free of grammar errors. This novel deserves a perfect rating because it’s an engaging read that requires the reader to reflect on society’s views of sex, monogamy, and happiness. While the Thailand adventure may sound like a far-fetched scenario to some, this story also serves as a reminder to never starve the sexy goddess or god that resides inside of our physical bodies.
If you daydream about rendezvousing with a mysterious stranger in a faraway land, this book is for you. If you’re going through a breakup or want a sexy read to spice up your own sex-life, this novel is a good place to start. If you’re offended by adult language or sexual situations, then it’s best to steer clear of this read and move onto something with less heat. There’s little to complain about in this novel other than a small detail regarding the font size in Kindle eBook version. The last page of each chapter contained a different layout and larger font, whereas I prefer reading texts that keep a consistent font size throughout the entirety of the text. This is a personal preference and did not affect my enjoyment when reading this novel. With an abundance of charming characters, passionate encounters, and a cliffhanger ending, Knights can rest assured that readers will be picking up the second novel in the Lost in Lost and Love Series as soon as possible.

I was waiting for the moment when Savnnah finally took control of her own life and happiness! I hope the next novel continues with this same theme.AKShanmar12 wrote: ↑19 Jul 2019, 11:22 Nicely written review! I read this one as well. I have to admit, Savannah drove me a little crazy with her discontent, but I guess in the end she took action for both her husband and her job.

Do you normally read romance novels? Just curious if you're not a fan of the scenes in this book or just erotic scenes in general? Would it stop you from reading the second novel in the series?Choine wrote: ↑20 Jul 2019, 16:25 Thank you for the review. I liked this plotline but I could have gone without the erotic scenes. I did give it a rating of 3 out of 4 stars in my review. I read this book on my laptop Kindle app, so I didn't experience the font size issues to described in your review.

Thank you! I didn't mind the cliffhanger ending because the novel itself wasn't too long. There's nothing more frustrating than finishing a 700-page book that ends with a cliffhanger!
